Because I want my life to have significance and because I want to grow in the direction that God has created me, my passion is to participate in God’s creation, celebrating beauty and truth, and to help others become fully who God created them to be. I am an agent of creation and redemption under God’s control and in the directions God has chosen. I am God's instrument.
Dan Erickson
I do this by helping people discover how God has created them through friendship and mentoring, by encouraging their God-given talents and gifts, and by sharing in the joy of living fully alongside them. This manifests primarily in the arts and in spiritual engagement in Kansas City, Kansas. I teach poetry classes and I do workshops on how to use poetic expression for lament, imagination, spiritual warfare, blessing, encouragement, as well as being part of retreats and worship times.
